Potato Nachos


2 lb potatoes, sliced

1 lb ground chuck

1/2 white onion

1 tbsp oil, and 1 tbsp oil

2 tbsp taco seasoning

4 oz mexican cheese blend


Heat oil in pan with onion, until translucent.

Add ground meat and seasoning. Cook over medium high heat, until browned.

Put meat into strainer, to drain any excess grease.


While meat is cooking, place sliced potatoes onto lined baking sheet.

Brush potatoes with oil, and put into preheated oven at 350 for 20 minutes.


Layer potatoes, meat, potatoes, meat, and top with cheese on baking sheet.

Place in oven at 500 for 10-15 minutes, until cheese melts.
