How do you transition out of a 31 day challenge?

I love all in, short term challenges. Nothing extreme, like a 500 calorie a day diet or a two hour a day work out group. It needs to be in line with your long term goals and healthy, but a stretch for day to day, long term plan.

In May, we completed a 15 minute a day workout challenge. to some, it proved they were capable of daily movement. To others, it showed they can push themselves more in their workouts.
We also tracked our food. Several were surprised to discover they needed to eat more. When you cut the sweets and fast food, it gets harder to get enough calories. Those open to really looking at what they were eating and comparing to where they want to be were able to make the biggest changes. When you log your food and no one judges your choices, you are able to make realistic long term changes. You don’t need to wait until you find the perfect plan, just continue making the next best choice.
Some of us started the doTerra slim and sassy supplements. An added level of commitment, in a natural form. Easy to incorporate into our day. And totally healthy to continue beyond our 31 days.
When it comes to working out, we can’t all continue working out every day, even with every fifth day a scheduled recovery day. After 31 days of 15 minutes a day of exercise, that amounts to 1 hour 45 minutes a week. So, creating 30 minutes, 3 times a week no longer sounds unrealistic when you think of total time invested.
What lessons did you learn? Failure is not an option when you apply eat went wrong and use it to make better choices in the future.

Some people learned they do best with a specific plan for the food. I like to follow plans, and I used to create plans. I have found that there is already a good plan for every person. So, we have been researching a few plans out there. June is going to be our month to nail clean eating. We are not all following the same plan, but that does not matter when it comes to accountability and helping each other on our journeys. We will all be lean, clean eating machines.
Our Facebook group, Becka the Pocket Trainer, will continue to run in June, still $25 for the month. The prize money and the daily work outs from the Slim Down will not be offered going forward, but so much more will be there. The weekly work out, ahem 30 minutes a day three days a week, got ya covered. Daily posts by me to motivate, educate, encourage you. Like minded people on similar journeys posting and keeping you accountable to your commitments. As we transition out of our 31 day challenge, we’d love to have you join us on our next chapter.
